About the role

An opportunity has presented itself for an experienced hands-on Project Officer to join our team on a permanent full-time basis.

Ideally this position will be based at our HQ in St Leonards but we are open to the possibility of having the position operate from any of our existing locations across Sydney or interstate.

The Project Officer will work across a varied portfolio of projects, with a focus on projects and programs which help to deliver improved outcomes for people living with dementia.

Duties include:

  • Effective delivery of assigned projects to meet agreed deliverables, within scope and timeframes
  • Manage all stages of projects, including all documentation to support planning and implementation, to monitoring, evaluation and reporting.
  • Preparation of reports, presentations and publications for internal and external audiences
  • Research and writing to develop business plans, tenders and grants, and project proposals on complex issues for consideration by the Senior Leadership team

About you

  • Previous experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously with conflicting demands
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong administrative and computer skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage effective relationships with relevant stakeholders
  • Previous experience in aged care, health care or not-for-profit sectors is desirable
  • Qualifications in a relevant field.
