Health Consumers Queensland Ltd (HCQ) is the peak health consumer organisation representing the interests of Queensland health consumers.

We are currently recruiting for a part-time Project Support Coordinator (approx. 30 hours per week, SCHADS Community Worker Level 4.1) who will provide project coordination and support for HCQ fee-for-service projects.

THE PROJECT SUPPORT COORDINATOR WILL:

  • Coordinate and send promotion of consumer opportunities via email to the state-wide network and other advertising opportunities to recruit Kitchen Table Discussion and Yarning Circle hosts and consumer participation in focus groups and co-design sessions.
  • Create and update fee-for-service Consumer Opportunities on the HCQ website.
  • Provide administration support for fee-for-service projects, including collating, and tracking progress of Consumer Opportunity applications.
  • Maintain and support development of Health Consumers Queensland’s Network database, including entering requests.
  • Liaise with consumers.
  • Schedule and participate in relevant meetings with clients and consumers.
  • Other support work as required.
