About the role

This exciting and diverse leadership position reporting to the Chief Information Officer will:

  • Ensure the day-to-day systems, internal governance and administration processes are working optimally to support staff and the effectiveness and accountability of the headspace National Office IT Operations.
  • Be responsible for managing cybersecurity risk and mitigations at headspace, ensuring client data is protected.

Key responsibilities of this role will be to:

  • Lead and mentor a team responsible for supporting the day-to-day IT needs of headspace National Office.
  • Oversee the Information Technology and communication systems of the organisation.
  • Manage the delivery of IT Operations led projects.
  • Manage cybersecurity risks and their mitigations.
  • Oversee the delivery of after hours on-call support services.
  • Ensure IT support documentation and DRP documentation is adequate and complete.
  • Pro-actively recommend changes to IT Infrastructure and systems.
  • Monitor any issues to ensure appropriate prioritisation, resolution and root causes.
  • Ensure stakeholder management is at optimal level.

Who we're looking for

headspace is seeking someone with:

  • Strong experience in IT Operations and help desk service across a range of environments.
  • Previous experience in managing and leading IT staff.
  • A strong service and delivery focus.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and stakeholder relationship building.
  • Demonstrated experience in quality improvement.
  • Exceptional time management, organisational and administrative skills.
  • Proven ability to work confidentially and productively with a high level of tact and diplomacy.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgement within delegated authority.
  • Very strong attention to detail and the ability to see issues through to conclusion.
