Tell me about the role……

An exciting opportunity exists for a Project Lead to use their project management experience to develop resources as requested by Queensland Department of Education (DoE), intended to build the capacity of educators and staff in schools to manage risk and vulnerable population groups.

The incumbent will be experienced in developing and leading projects, have a strong track record of working with schools, communities and/or a depth of understanding of youth mental health principles and best practice, including that of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander populations.

Who are we looking for?

This role calls for an individual with strong interpersonal and relationship building skills and capacity to collect and analyse data from a range of sources. Ideally, the candidate will have a high level of understanding of mental health, wellbeing and psychosocial issues impacting school aged young people.

Demonstrated successful project management experience in complex environments with multiple stakeholders is essential.

Based in Brisbane, QLD with a competitive salary ($100,000-$106,000) plus generous salary packaging benefits on offer. Remuneration is dependent on skills and experience.

This position is offered part time 0.8 FTE or full time until 30 June 2022.
