360 Health + Community, as lead agency for headspace Mandurah, is seeking a volunteer to lead the Consortium Advisory Committee. The consortium is made up of representatives from local organisations and agencies with expertise in youth friendly primary health care, mental health, alcohol and other drug, and vocational services.

The role of Chair provides leadership in the monthly consortium meetings by creating a structured, safe and welcoming environment for all attendees including committee members, members of the Youth Reference Group and guests. This involves setting the agenda, allocating time for discussion and presentations and keeping procedural standards.

Relationship building is a key element of the role, to work closely with 360 Health + Community Executive and headspace staff to coordinate and optimise the support available to young people in Mandurah and surrounds. There will also be collaboration with other headspace centre chairs and representation of the consortium at headspace national and special events.

We are requesting a time commitment of approximately 2 hours per month for meeting preparation and attendance, plus occasional ad hoc events. Meetings are held on the third Wednesday of every month, currently between 2.30 pm and 3.30pm. The role requires a national police certificate no older than six months, a current working with children check and full COVID-19 vaccination in accordance with current health directives.
