Information Advocacy Officer

Health Consumers' Council

It can be difficult for consumers to navigate the Western Australian Health System, or to give feedback if they are unhappy with any aspect of their healthcare experience. HCC’s Individual Advocacy Service provides flexible, individualised support, including providing information about health rights, attending appointments with health consumers’, and assisting them to make a complaint.

The Health Consumers' Council of WA is an independent community-based organisation which was established in 1994, representing the consumer’s voice in health policy, planning, research, and service delivery. We stand for equitable, person-centred, quality healthcare for all West Australians.
