About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team based in Acacia Ridge. In this role you will work within, guide and assist our staff in the daily operations of general contract work in Supply Chain Services. You will oversee the operation, ensuring a seamless effective process with an attention to safety.

Some of your key responsibilities include: 

  • Lead, build and inspire a high performing team with a hands-on approach
  • Planning, assigning, and directing work
  • Ensuring that all work is produced and completed in full, on time and of acceptable quality
  • Ensure that the workspace is safe, clean and uncluttered
  • Work with, train and support staff to meet volume, quality, and productivity objectives, as documented in their Employment Assistance Plan
  • Ensure that needs of employees are met, in particular as it relates to appropriate support for people with a disability as well as the company’s health and safety requirements

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in warehouse supervision
  • Must have a hands-on approach to work and lead by example
  • Be able to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment and deliver results
  • Ability to convey information appropriate for the needs of the target audience. That audience being colleagues, staff and customers and recognising that those with disabilities may require special methods of communication
  • An ability to work as part of a team to achieve individual, team and company goals
  • Demonstrated commitment to personal development
  • Competent literacy and numeracy skills
  • Good computer skills
  • Must have a Forklift Licence (or ability to obtain)
