About the Role

Reporting directly to the Payroll Manager, this role will provide support and assistant in the end to end process of the payroll function.

Some key responsibilities will include:

  • Process payroll and facilitate preparation of associated bank files for automatic fund transfers of employees’ remuneration, and salary sacrifice benefits
  • Respond to payroll queries from employees in a professional manner, as directed by the Payroll Manager
  • Generate monthly superannuation reports
  • In collaboration with the HR team, ensure that all new employees are included in the payroll along with pay details
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of the fortnightly payroll
  • Ensure that records of all employees on payroll related matters are properly filed

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
  • Excellent organisation skills
  • Ability to work with high precision and accuracy
  • Ability to keep up with changes in the payroll system, and standard procedures
  • Well-developed communication and inter-relational skills
  • Demonstrated appreciation for maintenance of confidentiality
  • Knowledge and experience working with payroll systems - Microsoft NAV highly desirable
  • Knowledge and experience working within an Integrated Management System
  • Demonstrated ability and experience in preparation, entry and processing payroll data
