Program Manager - Employment Services

About the Role

As the Program Manager, Employment Services you will be accountable for the development and implementation of programs to deliver disability employment outcomes which are considered best practice, high quality and aligned to HELP’s strategic objectives. This position is a critical leadership role and provides subject matter expertise across all employment programs and related contractual requirements.

Other key responsibilities will include:

  • Work with the Head of Employment and Regional Managers to maximise contract performance through operational improvement
  • Interpret and operationalise contractual obligations and performance targets set by the government authority and developing strategies to implement
  • Develop program frameworks and service delivery models which align to strategic and operational requirements
  • Report relevant insights to apply an innovative approach to growth and development of services, risk mitigation as well as identify potential business opportunities and partnerships
  • Provide effective leadership, mentoring and direction to the Employment Team with a focus on supporting the team to grow, develop and lift program performance within the division
  • Cultivate and lead a service culture within the team and broader division that is focussed on safe best practice employment disability supports and customer experience

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Proven experience in a senior operational management role with demonstrated skills in business and financial management
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Employment Services Industry
  • Deep understanding of the government funded employment programs and an ability to interpret contract requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to lead change within a complex services environment
  • Demonstrated experience leading both strategic and operational objectives
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a proactive, diverse team and create a positive, inclusive work culture
