We’re Highway - an innovative youth charity based in Melbourne working to meet young people where they’re at and help them figure out what they want for themselves. Our Highway Youth Facilitators help young people across Australia find belonging and work towards their most authentic self through transformational group sessions and workshops held online.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Onboarding Manager, you’ll be in charge of getting our participants onboarded and engaged. This will involve:

  • Calling prospective participants to explain the Highway Journey Program and confirm they’re committed to joining a Highway Group
  • Building relationships with participants via phone and email
  • Planning and organising the Highway Group Calendar
  • Providing key reports into participant sign up rate, participant attendance rate etc
  • Managing participant list e.g. reengaging inactive and prospective participants, removing inactive participants
  • Creating and implementing innovative participant retention strategies

About you

You’ll be the first point of call for our participants, so we’re looking for someone who loves chatting with people:

  • Warm, inviting and up for a chat (especially with 18 – 25-year-olds)
  • Comfortable and confident with both outward and inward calls
  • Able to deal with rejection
  • Persistent and resilient
  • Love working in a small team
  • Melbourne-based. We’re fully online, but have occasional events and work lunches in person.

This role will be 3.5 hours/5 days a week (17.5 hours/week). Ideal for a stay-at-home mum or someone looking for part-time work.
