Highway School Wellbeing Project

We’re Highway - an innovative youth charity based in Melbourne working to meet young people where they’re at and help them figure out what they want for themselves. Through transformational group sessions and workshops, we help young people from across Australia find belonging and work towards their most authentic selves.

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about people, someone who wants to support others, is comfortable and confident in a group setting and get joy from making a real difference in a young person’s life.

Highway Foundation is looking for a teacher to help us implement our engaging wellbeing project in schools. The project is a well-being program that is creative, fun and exciting and is science based. We will be helping young people with life skills to discover who they are and where they want to go. It is a 3-week project which will be implemented in July- August 2022.

The tentative dates are as follows and will run 8.30 am-4.30 pm each day: (weeks might change slightly) Our project will be implemented in Melbourne, Shepparton and Ballarat. You will need to have your own transportation.

• Week - 25th – 31st July
• Week 8th – 12th August
• Week 22nd – 26th August
• Travel, meals and accommodation will be covered

• Hold a current/valid VIT membership
• Have the right to work in Australia 
• To hold a valid Covid-19 vaccination certificate including booster vaccination
• Provide an up-to-date CV and x2 referees for us to contact
