About the role

Due to business growth, we are currently looking for Cleaning Support Workers to support our NDIS Participants with their domestic cleaning requirements.

You have the opportunity to truly make a difference in the lives of others. Work hours can be flexible to suit your personal commitments and immediate start is available.

Key information:

• Casual work available
• $27 per hour + super + paid travel time in between jobs
• Paid allowances including km’s travelled ($0.80 per km)
• Uniform provided
• Work available Monday to Friday within the hours of 8 am to 6 pm, no weekend, night work or public holidays
• All cleaning supplies and equipment provided
• Attend to the same homes regularly and get to know our clients

Tasks you will be working on:

• Basic cleaning tasks including moping, vacuuming, sweeping, wiping, squeegeeing and other associated tasks
• Build rapport with NDIS participants and their families

Application must haves:

• Current Driver's Licence and fully (comprehensive) insured vehicle
• Honest, reliable and energetic team player with a positive 'can-do' attitude
• Strong sense of accountability and confidentiality
• Attention to detail and a willingness to learn
• The right to work in Australia
• Good level of English communication skills - written and verbal
• Willingness to undergo an NDIS Workers Screening Check and WWCC
• An understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) (desirable)
• Exposure to and/ or experience with working with people with disabilities, aged care sector and/or support provision.
