As the Diversity and Inclusion Project Manager you will be responsible for ensuring that HOPE provides an ever-improving quality of care to their LGBTIQ+ staff, volunteers and clients. This involves evaluating an organisation’s level of workplace inclusion and making evidence-based recommendations for change.
In this role, we need are seeking dynamic and experience project manager who will identify the key actions and project plan to meet the Rainbow Tick Standards:
There will be a focus on working collaboratively with a range of senior leaders and staff throughout the organisation. This includes surveying staff and selected clients to measure their understanding and knowledge of safe and inclusive practices for LGBTIQ+ people, as well as reviewing existing systems, processes, policies, and infrastructure by applying an LGBTIQ+ lens.
The manager will also develop local agency advisory groups in each region and project groups, to ensure we, as an organisation, can build inclusivity, identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.
To be the successful candidate you need excellent communication skills, including public speaking, presentations and facilitation skills.
To support your experience a tertiary qualification in project management, social work, psychology, community services or related filed is necessary.
Ideally you will also have change management experience and a strong knowledge of the requirements to achieve Rainbow Tick Accreditation
This role will require you to flexibly manage competing priorities and stressful situations, so it is important you have the ability to monitoring own stress levels as well as practise and promote self-care strategies.
Most importantly, you will show a passion for change and an understanding and commitment to, the health and wellbeing of LGBTQI+ individuals and communities.
Appointments will be subject to Australian residency/visa, satisfactory National Criminal Record checks, Drivers license, the Working With Children Check, Covid-19 Vaccination records and suitable work referees
