ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Seeking an inspired and motivated Business Partnerships Professional looking to work in a purpose-driven NFP with an advocating and client-focused team.

Reporting to and working closely with the CEO, you will:

  • have a strategic focus to build and maintain existing partnerships.
  • identify and develop new partnerships and business opportunities that further the goals of Hope Street through local communities, governments, trusts and foundations, research opportunities and joint initiatives.

Some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Establish, nurture and coordinate business partnerships with philanthropic trusts and foundations.
  • Seek new partnerships with external agencies/organisations and collaborate with key stakeholders within local communities.
  • Secure funds and project manage new initiatives.
  • Strategically promote and position Hope Street within the wider community enhancing and harnessing opportunities for growth.
  • As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, you will contribute to the organisations strategic plan and assist with dynamic projects to enhance growth in a changing environment.

You will be available to work a 4-day week (30.4 hours) between the hours of 8 am – 6 pm.

Classification: SCHADS Award 2010, Level 7

ABOUT YOU

You have:

  • A bachelor’s degree qualification in Business/Marketing/Communications/Fundraising or related field.
  • Experience in a similar role in a not-for-profit organisation and have an understanding of the external issues relevant to the role/organisation.
  • Highly developed conceptual, strategic, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding leadership, management and communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build effective relationships and engage stakeholders at all levels including donors, community members, senior government officials, in a professional and social environment.
  • Flexibility to manage competing demands and timeframes.
