Alkira provides a range of supports and services for adults with intellectual disabilities and their families. Our Community Supports services offer a range of programs and activities in Alkira’s Box Hill and Nunawading facilities and in the community. We have full time and casual positions available for co-ordinating and providing supports and activities for an individual or a group people with a disability.

We are looking for people with a variety of skills and interests that they can utilise to run developmental, interesting and fun programs. For example – do you have know-how in gardening, creative arts, music - or are you great with numeracy, literacy or life and employability skills? In this role you will…

• Develop and deliver group and/or individual programs and activities.
• Use your unique set of skills to run these engaging programs.
• Support adults with intellectual disabilities to further their skills and work towards their goals in life.
• Assist participants to engage with Alkira and their local community and connections.
• Be attentive to participant’s individual needs and provide support in a respectful and dignified way.

You must have:

• Cert IV in Disability
• A current First Aid level 2 and CPR Certificate
• Full current Victorian Drivers Licence
