It is set to continue this development with its ambitious three-year growth plan and is looking for a talented Chief Financial Officer to join its Executive Team.

about the role

This is a new role within Unisson’s structure, reporting to the CEO. You will lead and manage all strategic and operational finance functions, playing a pivotal role in the long-term financial sustainability. You will provide high-level advice at an enterprise level to the board, CEO and Executive Team as well as building financial literacy across in the organisation. You will oversee the annual budgeting, forecasting, reporting and statutory compliance functions. As part of the Executive Team, you will partner with cross-functional leaders to drive the overall strategic development of the organisation. You will lead the Finance Team to embed an internal service ethos, supporting and guiding the organisation in all financial matters.

To succeed in this role, you will:

• Bring substantial experience in a senior finance position in a medium to large organisation (+$60m pa turnover) with well-developed technical skills
• Demonstrate a strategic mindset with the capability to get across complexity
• Bring energy, flexibility and creative thinking, coupled with the ability to maintain oversight of finance and business processes at an operational level
• Take a collaborative approach with your Executive colleagues and internal stakeholders
• Have sound people management and interpersonal capabilities, with a values-based leadership style
• Hold tertiary qualifications in finance or accounting and CPA/CA membership.
