Hume City Council are seeking motivated Maternal and Child Health Nurses with a positive approach to service delivery to join our team. To be considered for these positions you will have current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulatory Agency as a Nurse and Midwife and evidence of completion of a Postgraduate qualification in Maternal & Child Health.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as within a team.
  • Demonstrated effective communication skills and ability to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of MCH programs and an understanding of the contemporary practice environment
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate, confidential records of daily activities, child/family profiles and maintain other documentation as required, in accordance with relevant standards and privacy requirements.
