Independent Disability Services (IDS), based in Carlton and extending across Greater Melbourne, is driven to provide ‘Awesome Client Experiences’. We are focused on developing a team culture where all interactions are made with a ‘feels like family’ approach.

To help us achieve our goals, we’re searching for a Service Coordinator to join us on a full-time basis.
As the Services Coordinator, client services you will maintain and coordinate community care services within the IDS client portfolio. You are the primary contact and interface for clients and Support Workers. This position builds relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the client experience is exceptional, and services are responsive to their needs.

You will also be responsible for ensuring that our Support Workers are valued, supported, and developed to deliver the best practice client experiences and representing the organisation’s values and standards.
You will lead by example as well as appropriately match and allocate Support Workers with clients to ensure an exceptional client experience, particularly when rostering.
You are vital to working with both clients and your colleagues, by providing day-to-day support and direction to the Support Workers and ensuring empowerment and trust from an engaged, client centred, committed, and effective team. By understanding every situation from the other person’s perspective and viewing every interaction as an opportunity to build a relationship our clients will feel heard, understood, and respected resulting in quality outcomes.

To be considered for this role, you must have a ‘client’ and ‘outcomes’ focused approach and the passion to make each client experience ‘Awesome’.
Experience within Disability is preferable.
You will have a comprehensive and demonstrated understanding of the NDIS, as well as experience in workforce scheduling or rostering within the disability or aged care sectors.
