Accountabilities

  • To manage the implementation and development of the company's recycling program.
  • Support the delivery of remote and Indigenous recycling initiatives.
  • Identify, train and mentor regional and remote-based communities to ensure the sustainability of program.
  • Lead the delivery collection, monitor and report performance, and make the necessary adjustments to deliver agreed outcomes.-Actively promote awareness of the company in communities.
  • Assist in program reporting, evaluation and forward planning.

Selection Criteria

Knowledge and skills

The position requires competency in the following essential elements:

  • Demonstrate effectiveness in delivering remote community programs.
  • Understanding of the Australian Indigenous culture and remote community environments.
  • High level of skill in preparing and presenting correspondence, reports and submissions.
  • Demonstrated experience working in remote communities.
  • Ability to work as part of a small team.
  • Experience and confidence in government liaison.

Personal qualities

  • Passionate about ensuring the success of recycling in communities.
  • Passionate about supporting the community.

Additional requirements

  1. Must have valid Australian Driver’s licence.
