Remote / Work from Home
The International Federation for Emergency Medicine (IFEM) leads the development of the highest quality of emergency medical care for all people. Our mission is to advance the growth of high quality emergency medical care through education and standards, to lead the collaboration and networking necessary to establish universal equality in service and care, and to promote the creation and growth of the specialty of emergency medicine in every country. IFEM, a member-based not-for-profit global organisation, is comprised of emergency medicine organisations from 70 countries around the world.
As a predominately volunteer run organisation, you will be playing an instrumental role in helping the Board of Directors develop and implement a major gifts strategy and assist IFEM in achieving its mission of advancing emergency medical care throughout the world. With emergency medicine doctors and nurses at the front line of COVID-19 patient care in hospitals across the world, it’s a fantastic opportunity to get involved and use your fundraising skills to make a positive impact on people’s lives.
Major donor acquisition is a significant skill and experience gap within the organisation, however we are mindful of the time required to develop and implement a major gift strategy, so we are very open to working with someone who can assist with just strategy development and can provide training/guidance for staff and other volunteers so they can effectively manage implementation.
Please find a full Position Description attached.
