Independent Living Assessment (ILA) is a for-purpose organisation based in Perth, Western Australia. ILA's vision is for a community where everyone can make genuine and informed decisions on how to live independently. Our purpose is to provide nationally competitive and individualised supports, knowledge, and tools that enable and enhance living well in the community through delivery of a range of assessment, navigation, and community and sector capacity building initiatives.

Due to rapid growth throughout the organisation, we have an exciting new opportunity for a marketing coordinator who has a passion for social media, is confident at conjuring content, loves to communicate with their community, can see the wood from the trees through the analytics and has a natural flare for design.


This varied role will help to shape ownership of our marketing activity across a diverse range of marketing activities including all social media channels as well as assisting with strategic input to our varied projects and campaigns throughout the organisation.

Your day-to-day role will see you taking ownership of:

  • social media channels
  • Editing/updating content on websites. WordPress and Sitefinity
  • Creating graphic content that is in keeping with our brands aesthetic
  • Analysis of marketing activities to define success and make recommendations for improvements
  • Actively seeking collaborative opportunities with brands with similar demographics
  • Brainstorming, implementing, and monitoring digital campaigns to help drive brand awareness
  • Assist with responding to all DM’s, emails, and enquiries

  • Knows what to look for with SEO
  • Is a highly organised – self starter
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Passionate about making a difference in the community
  • Wanting to expand your current skillset
  • 2 years + experience in a similar role
  • Valid police check and COVID-19 vaccination is a pre-requisite for this position at ILA

It would be highly regarded if you have:

  • Experience working with different CMS
  • Knowledge of aged care and disability in the community desirable
  • Experience with copy writing
  • Graphic Design experience with Adobe cc suite
  • Experience in a similar role
