We have a dynamic core team of 11 consultants supported by numerous partners, which allows us to have an impact nationally. We work with a range of organisations, including community-based organisations, not-for-profits of varying sizes, peak bodies, and government agencies and departments with significant budgets and policy influence.

Our primary work is focused on the following sectors (and includes the intersections between):

Our work is focused on four primary areas:

  • Insight gathering (qualitative and quantitative)
  • Strategy
  • Program, service and product design
  • Service and program evaluation and review.

The position

We are seeking an individual to join our dynamic and growing team, working in a collaborative environment to deliver a diverse range of projects.

You will have at least 2 years of professional experience and possess strong working knowledge and a deep interest in at least one of our sectors of focus. While not mandatory, consulting experience will be looked upon favourably.

You will be actively contributing to projects from inception to completion, both autonomously and within a structured, team-based environment. In your role, you will work closely with the Directors of the business, project managers, and a diverse range of clients and stakeholders (from service users to senior personnel (including CEOs and Board members)).

The work that you will be doing will include:

  • Consulting – This will include:
    • Research (including desktop and consumer/stakeholder research)
    • Quantitative and qualitative analysis
    • Report writing
    • Business and financial modelling
    • Meeting and focus group facilitation.

All of this work will be done in close collaboration with other consultants, who will provide the support and coaching to allow you to develop into a high-performing consultant and leader.

  • Project management and coordination – Actively managing the progress of projects and coordinating key project activities, ensuring that they run to timelines and budget
  • Engaging – Participating in key client meetings and liaising with key stakeholders. Building relationships with client contacts and maintaining these beyond the life of the project.
  • Enabling – Providing assistance to other parts of the business where required, as we continue to grow.

About you

  • 2+ years professional experience (consulting experience is not essential, but will be looked upon favourably)
  • Strong working knowledge and a deep interest in at least one of our sectors of focus
  • Desire to forge a career in impact-led consulting
  • Ability to work both autonomously and within a dynamic, team-based environment across a variety of projects
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, pushing to deliver innovative solutions to complex problems
  • Strong communication skills – both written and oral
  • Creative thinker, with a desire to do things better
  • Ability to multi-task and handle ambiguity.
