The other business I would like to establish is using my DJ skills. I have enjoyed playing at several gigs and would like to play regularly.

I have some learning difficulties which means I require assistance with independent living skills and accessing the community.

Role and Responsibilities

We are looking for someone to lead a team of people supporting Cara to reach her goals. This includes support workers, therapy providers and some business contacts. Duties include recruitment, management of the team, scheduling, liaison with therapy providers and appointment booking. Training and reporting are also a requirement of this role.

• Have experience with motivating and mentoring staff
• Have strong verbal and written communication skills
• Have conflict resolution skills and a willingness to confidently and proactively manage any issues
• Must be willing to travel within Perth metropolitan area

EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS

• Approximately 5 to 10 hours per week
• Flexibility to be able to be responsive to contact from staff and my family
• Current driver’s license, national police clearance and a well maintained and reliable vehicle

Location: Greenmount (in the foothills east of Midland)
