We are seeking a person to commence part-time duties in February for 20-30 hours per week (neg) to assist people with disability to access the Disability Royal Commission into Violence, Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation of People with Disability.

• The advocate needs to be highly motivated, have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be a team player.
• A good understanding of social disadvantage and the ability to strategise around individuals is essential.
• Ability to relate to a range of people with intellectual disability is fundamental.
• Also highly desirable to have acted in an advocacy role, preferably as an individual's advocate or ally.
