Indigo Power
  • Two Exciting Opportunities

For two people with experience solving challenging business, financial, or electrical industry problems, this is an opportunity to make a difference.

As a project analyst, you'll be responsible for delivering one of two feasibility studies. Both feasibility studies focus on further developing micro-grid or virtual power plant solutions that benefit regional and remote communities.

The Aggregated Community-Scale Battery Storage in North East Victoria feasibility study will assess the technical, commercial, and financial viability of establishing a virtual power plant comprised of at least five community-scale batteries, to be located in communities across North East Victoria.

The Upper Murray Islandable Microgrid Project will build on Indigo Power's existing project work in the Upper Murray region, assessing the technical, commercial, and financial feasibility of developing a large-scale energy storage asset (battery or pumped hydro energy storage) in the Upper Murray, as the cornerstone of an Upper Murray islandable microgrid.

You will work closely with our community partners, and Indigo Power's Engagement Officer and Managing Director. You'll also have the support of electrical engineering, smart-grid, electricity retail and wholesale, and financial consultants engaged to support both projects.

There are two positions open, both funded for two years.

Your Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience in delivering analytical work, and preparing comprehensive reports, on challenging business, financial, or electricity industry-related topics.
  • Experience managing research or similar projects, delivering on time and on budget outcomes.
  • Self-starter with drive and determination to perform the role to the best of their ability.
  • University-level qualifications in commerce, economics, financial, or accounting-related degrees, or electricity industry-related degrees.
