As the Community Engagement Officer, you will be responsible for increasing local awareness of Indigo Power and the products and services it offers by delivering Indigo Power’s Marketing Communications Strategy across the region.
The Engagement Officer provides opportunities for Indigo Power to establish long-term meaningful relationships with organisations and the community.
You will be an integral part of the Indigo Power team. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for establishing effective relationships with local organisations, supporting local organisations, fundraising, coordinating non-profit renewable energy community groups, providing stakeholder engagement and engagement activities.
For an experienced engagement officer, this is your chance to apply your skills and experience to assist in developing a local, community-owned renewable energy company.
This role is a full-time position with flexible working arrangements.
Indigo Power is a community-owned social enterprise, with a Beechworth head office.
Our purpose is to create a society powered by 100% renewable energy to support and empower communities.
We deliver an innovative electricity retail product across a delivery area that includes Southern NSW and North East Victoria and we build, own and operate community-scale renewable energy infrastructure to supply customers with locally generated renewable energy.
You will have the opportunity to live in and explore some of the most picturesque areas of North East Victoria.
The position is based in Indigo Power's Beechworth office at the Old Beechworth Gaol, with access to flexible working arrangements, including working from home.
You will be at the forefront of renewable energy innovation and have the chance to create and deliver administrative systems and processes that support a company focused on producing significant long term benefits for local communities.
