Head of Corporate Partnerships

Interplast Australia & New Zealand

Interplast Australia & New Zealand (Interplast) was established in 1983 as a not-for-profit organisation providing volunteer plastic and reconstructive services together with health capacity building activities to developing communities in the Asia Pacific region.

Interplast works to improve the lives of people in developing countries who experience disability as a result of congenital and acquired medical conditions such as cleft lip and palate or burn scar contractures. Volunteer plastic and reconstructive surgeons, anaesthetists, nurses and allied health professionals provide free medical treatment for those who would otherwise not be able to afford access to services. Interplast works closely with local services to build their capacity to deliver surgical and other related health care interventions.

Interplast is a signatory to the Australian Council for International Development (ACFID) Code of Conduct and is an accredited non-government organisation with the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT).

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Head of Corporate Partnerships is broadly responsible for leading and managing all aspects of corporate giving, and related fundraising at Interplast Australia & New Zealand, and is responsible for building a healthy and engaged portfolio of corporate partners to support the work of the organisation.

The position will lead and coordinate a range of existing and new corporate relationships; ensuring partner needs are exceeded and realising their full potential to maximise revenue growth. Primarily, the role will have responsibility for new partner acquisition and achieving agreed income targets.

The Head of Corporate Partnerships will:

  • Identify an extensive prospect pipeline, qualify and solicit ongoing and significant corporate gifts and secure ongoing and increased revenue
  • Develop and implement plans to meet income targets, and actively build and maintain key relationships amongst corporate prospects and existing supporters
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of existing corporate partners ensuring relationships remain strong throughout the organisation
  • Work with the Chief Executive Officer, Supporter Engagement Committee and Board of Directors to devise and implement new initiatives that increase corporate revenue
  • Accurately record information about, and communication with all prospects and donors – including research material, engagement plans, stewardships plans and meeting reports
  • Plan and manage all stewardship, cultivation and prospecting events in conjunction with other team members
  • Promote existing relevant fundraising products to new and existing corporate partners
  • Proactively participate as a member of Interplast’s Leadership Team ensuring delivery against the Strategic Plan and key operational priority areas.
  • Undertake other tasks as required by the Chief Executive Officer.

This newly created role is a great opportunity to make your mark on the international development sector, and help shape positive patient outcomes across the Asia Pacific region.
