Customer Support Officer - NDIS

Located in Glebe is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Customer Service Officer with some knowledge of the NDIS or Disability sector.

THE ROLE:

Reporting to the Customer Enquiry Team Leader some of your key accountabilities will include:

  • Providing superior levels of customer service through multiple channels (phone, website, emails etc) with regard to services needed by the customers
  • Ensuring all relevant information is captured throughout the call
  • Following up on all queries with appropriate timeframes
  • Creating, updating & maintaining customer records
  • Working in conjunction with internal departments, ensuring all relevant reporting is completed
  • Assisting with any other adhoc duties as requested

THE CANDIDATE:

To secure this role the ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience within a similar position – you’re really comfortable in your knowledge of the NDIS and how best to assist the client when they call with a query
  • Exceptional communication skills – you’re a natural communicator. You show empathy and understand how tricky it can be for clients as they navigate their way through their plans. You’re also comfortable offering up suggestions on how else the organisation can assist the client
  • A current NDIS Worker Check and Police check (or a willingness to obtain – police check can be no older than 12 months)
  • Strong computer and admin skills – your post call admin work is really important to ensure all relevant information is relayed to the correct team
