Located in Kensington is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Events Coordinator:

THE ROLE:

Reporting to the Events Executive some of your key accountabilities will include:

  • Assisting in the planning, admin support and execution of signature events throughout the year
  • Working closely with the fundraising and events team to ensure assistance and support is provided for other marketing and fundraising initiatives
  • Management of event database (Salesforce & Zkipster) to ensure accuracy of client and attendee information
  • Creating and managing event project plans
  • Managing the booking of facility and lab tours for the marketing and fundraising team
  • Ensuring key internal and external relationships are maintained (supplier and venue management)
  • Assisting with post event reporting
  • Attending events to set up and bump out
  • Assisting with any ad-hoc duties relating to event coordination and support

THE CANDIDATE:

To secure this role the ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience within a similar role where you have worked within a marketing &/or events team – you love events and being the support person that people can go to
  • Relevant qualifications in marketing, events or related discipline – not essential but would be great if you have them
  • The kind of personality that is a natural born organiser who loves dealing with people – you will maintain relationships with venues, external agencies and suppliers as well as internal teams and stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills – because you’re a natural born organiser who loves dealing with people, you are also really confident when it comes to communicating to all kinds of people (senior management, clients who might have queries about events coming up etc)
  • Strong computer skills – it would be brilliant if you have worked with Salesforce as well as other reporting tools, platforms and apps (event bid, Zkipster, excel etc)
  • A current covid vaccination certificate

This is such a great role. It’s ideally suited to someone who loves the fast pace of events, loves having a back up plan for their back up plan and being the support person in the team that can say ‘don’t worry – give it to me I’ll sort it”
