The aim of this role is to lead a community research project focused on improving the service supports for children and their families living in social housing, particularly in the First 1000 Days of a child's life.
In partnership with the Murdoch Children's Research Institute, the Community Research Officer will work in participatory and collaborative way with families living in social housing and local service providers to undertake an action research project.
This project will focus on building understanding of the impacts that living in social housing can have on early child health and
development and to develop and test new approaches to improve outcomes.
