Multiple opportunities exist for new graduate occupational therapists to access an exciting new graduate program at Star Health.
This two year graduate program will be tailored to the preferences and needs of the successful candidates. There are opportunities to deliver Occupational Therapy services within our Community Health funded and NDIS provided programs with exposure to a range of client cohorts. (Adult Physical Health, Adult Mental Health and Paediatrics).
Community health services provide universal access to services as well as targeted services for vulnerable population groups. Community Health is an exciting area of practice, allowing clinicians to support clients with their short, medium and longer term functional/ recovery goals. At the end of the program, there will likely be opportunities to progress into area of preference at Grade 2 level.
Star Health works in partnership with people and communities to promote and improve equity, health and wellbeing by delivering innovative client-directed services that take into account the context of the individual and the community, and championing prevention and change to address the structural reasons for health inequity.
