We have multiple opportunities for New Graduates, Early Career Clinicians and Senior Speech Pathologists to apply to join our wonderful multi disciplinary NDIS team. Part time and Full time options are available, alongside flexibility to work at one of our sites (Prahran, Bentleigh or South Melbourne).

Our Clinicians provide assessment and therapy to children and their families who are eligible consumers of the NDIS. Therapy can take place in clinic or in a child's natural environment. All the tools you need to undertake the role are included; fleet vehicles, lap top, mobile phone, assessment kits, toys, professional development etc.

There are exciting opportunities to collaborate with our external stakeholders particularly in the ASD assessment space. Clinicians are mentored and supported to gradually build their independent case load and achieve manageable targets. Clinicians have access to regular consults with the broader multi disciplinary.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • To provide, in line with their NDIS plan, Speech Pathology assessment and therapeutic evidence-based interventions for consumers, providing clinical recommendations to their care team to manage the disability and behaviours.
  • Providing Outreach support to consumers where appropriate.
  • Work collaboratively with consumers, their families and significant others (including carers & children)
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external service providers to facilitate services with regards to the consumer's NDIS plan
  • Maintain accurate program records and statistics and comply with all administrative quality and compliance requirements and tasks
  • Preparation of reports

Ideally, you will possess:

  • A professional qualification in Speech Therapy.
  • Experience in working with children & their families.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver specific speech & language therapy assessments and provide recommendations.
  • Excellent knowledge of key worker model and social model of health.
  • A clear understanding of NDIS service delivery and working as part of a multi disciplinary team.
