The Opportunity

The COVID-19 consortium is a collaboration between IPC Health, EACH, Star Health, DPV Health and cohealth. Commissioned by the Victorian Department of Health, the consortium provides range of COVID-19 response activities in testing, vaccination and community engagement.

As Lead Agency, IPC Health is central to the success of the COVID-19 Collaborative.

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the C-19 RTR -Testing and Engagement in a dedicated Nursing care and support role.

  • The Clinical Support Nurse - COVID Positive Management role reports to the Senior Clinical Lead C-19 Collaborative.
  • Located at Deer Park and Work From Home

You will make a difference

  • By working in Collaboration in conjunction with the Results Coordinator and Senior Clinical Lead C-19 Collaborative
  • Coordinating and assisting with telephone notification of positive results to clients tested by IPC Health COVID testing programs
  • Clients are to be registered into clinical software - Best Practice
  • Escalate matters of clinical or other concern to Clinical Lead or rostered GP
  • Carry out duties in a clinical safety first focus, ensuring to follow required policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as directed, within the limit of skills, competence, training and scope
  • Full Time or Part Time Fixed Term (special project) opportunities until 31st December 2021
  • Classified accordingly under the Nurses and Midwives Victorian Public Sector Agreement 2016-2020
  • Registered R.N's and E'N's (with unrestricted registration) are welcome to apply

You will succeed

  • By being an AHPRA Registered R.N or E.N (with current unrestricted AHPRA registration)
  • Recent clinical experience within a GP or hospital environment
  • Experience in a COVID-19 environment, including strong knowledge of Case and Contact Management of COVID-19 cases is desirable
  • Experience in working with diverse communities and providing social and mental health support
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
  • Experience in care-coordination and management of complex clients
  • Have an aptitude in technical skills including Microsoft Office suite and client management systems
  • Victorian Drivers Licence
  • National Police check and WWCC
