About the role

As part of the Aged Care Services team, in this exciting role you will support consumer's choice as the first key point of contact for consumers, carers and providers' initial enquiries and service coordination. With your working knowledge in the Aged Care sector, you will provide efficient administrative support including but not limited to appointment management, researching and developing communication materials relevant to consumers needs, management of the client management system (TCM) as well as ongoing support to the wider Aged Care Services team.

Using your experience and aptitude in customer service excellence and high level of communication and interpersonal skills, you will lead responses to customer initiated issues, service coordination, conflict resolution and establish productive relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally. This role will provide you with the opportunity to be innovative as you help identify solutions to improve business processes and systems to support the end to end consumer process.

Based at St Albans, this position is a Full Time Fixed Term - Special Projects role funded until June 2022. The role classification is Clerical Worker Grade C Year 5 offering $59,324.64 pa (above award) and is classified under the Victorian Stand-Alone Community Health Services (Health and Allied Services, Managers and Administrative Officers) Multiple Enterprise Agreement 2018-2022.

About you

You will demonstrate previous success in a similar role committed to customer service excellence and administration support experience. Your verbal and written communication skills are at the highest standard demonstrating ability to develop productive relationships and liaise with a variety of stakeholders to effectively meet their needs. Through your relevant working experience, you will have well developed research and problem solving skills to enable effective conflict resolution and be resourceful in the provision of relevant materials to key stakeholders. With a strong understanding of privacy and confidentiality principles, you will also demonstrate a strong understanding of local services. You are skilled in taking initiative to contribute to quality improvement paired with proven technical competence using Microsoft Office suite and customer management tools and systems.
