About Us?

The Institute for Urban Indigenous Health (IUIH) leads the development, planning and delivery of comprehensive primary health care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people living in Southeast Queensland.

The Human Resources team sits within the larger Corporate Services operations. The Human Resources team is a busy team of 5 soon to be 6 with the new addition to the team. We actively work alongside a large organisation of 750+. As a team, our aim is to provide all IUIH teams with the support that enables them to achieve their business objectives and theirs and IUIH’s overall mission and vision.

About the Role?

The position of Human Resources Administrator plays a very important role in supporting Managers and Employees in maintaining HR compliance, including but not limited to ensuring employees maintain up to date employee records i.e. Blue/ Yellow Cards & Registrations.
In addition to compliance this role will also support the broader team with all aspects of the employee lifecycle and supporting the IUIH Head Office Reception team from time to time.

About You?

  • Passionate about integration and connecting with the broader organisation
  • A flare for Administration with an interest in Human Resources
  • Must have at least Dose 1 of the Covid-19 vaccine prior to commencement
  • Current C Class Drivers Licence
  • Willingness to obtain a Criminal History Check

  • Previous experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and /or communities
