The Organisation

IWDA is the leading Australian agency entirely focussed on women’s rights and gender equality in the Asia Pacific region. They are international, feminist and independent.

The Role

The Communications Coordinator will support IWDA’s strategic communication objectives, particularly in reaching influential stakeholders with targeted and engaging content. They will work collaboratively with Communications Team members to plan, gather and create content across digital and print channels including website, social media, email marketing and publications.

The Candidate

You will have:

  1. Demonstrated experience producing written and multimedia content, for a variety of audiences and channels
  2. Strong interviewing and storytelling ability and understanding of how to tailor communications to different audiences, channels and objectives
  3. Ability to transform technical and complex information into engaging and accessible content
  4. Professional experience producing content for social media channels
  5. Experience in utilising brand and communication guidelines and following best practice in maintaining the safety and dignity of story participants
  6. Exceptional attention to detail and proven ability to meet deadlines
  7. Strong stakeholder management skills

The Offer

Offered as a permanent full time role with the annual salary of a SCHADS 3
