The Youth Consultant provides end to end support for JCAL participants/candidates in preparation for employment and/or life skills, including internal training, workplace and community support and HR case management assistance to ensure positive, productive outcomes for JCAL participants/candidates.
They play a critical role in ensuring JCAL participants/candidates are supported to achieve outcomes aligned with individualised employment, social and independence goals.
Youth Consultants work with dedicated Youth Workplace Consultants to develop the skills and employability of participants and ensure progress towards individual career and life goals. Youth Consultants must identify and implement, or refer to appropriate services, appropriate intervention strategies to build motivation, skills and experience of participants to become ready to move into open employment.
