To provide multiple team coordination and leadership to ensure effective service delivery across teams, covering all aspects of site management, quality and compliance, team leadership and driving positive achievement of DES/NDIS Program goals.
The Operations Manager manages the operational activities the Central Coast, they develop, monitor and manage strategies, including innovations to build JCAL business and increase business capacity. The Operations Manager monitors the overall ESA operations to ensure financial viability is sustained and contributes to the operational and strategic planning in JCAL. The incumbent plays a critical role in ensuring JCAL business viability and growth and in supporting high quality service delivery to ensure candidates and participants enjoy a supportive and individually tailored program of supports for the preparation or placement in employment and career paths over time.
This role undertakes its work with significant autonomy, working in new and less established areas but with regard to relevant established guidelines and processes (especially compliance related). The incumbent would apply sound judgement to operational decisions in their ESA, escalating contentious issues (internal or external) or those with a broader reach or new/unfamiliar implications to the Area Operations Manager or GM Operations, depending on the nature of the issue.
This role will communicate/liaise regularly with hiring manager/senior manager employer contacts (up to and including executives) and JCAL Careers, network across industry and government forums to promote JCAL services and communicate/liaise with Departmental officers and external auditors on compliance and service delivery quality issues.
