Are you committed to the rights and choices of people living with disability? Do you have a passion to support people living with significant disability to live in their own homes instead of group home living? If, so we want to hear from you. JFA Purple Orange has an exciting opportunity for you to work alongside people living with significant disability and their families to create and move towards their own vision to live in their own home.

This part-time position is part of a national pilot project that aims to deepen the knowledge of people living with disability and their families/supporters about Individualised Living Options by providing personalised information support and vision-building to assist people to create their own plan to live in their own home, and to assist their navigation through the NDIS ILO pathway.

The position will also facilitate workshops and peer networks to support families in their leadership in pursuing an inclusive life for a family member living with significant disability.

The role needs a self-starter with a deep commitment to inclusion, who has experience and skill working alongside people living with disability and their families to build a vision and navigate systems, and who can prepare and present helpful information to individuals and groups.

This role is offered on a part-time basis (19-26 hours per week) for 18-24 months. Salary packaging options are available. People living with disability are encouraged to apply.
