If so, we want to hear from you. JFA Purple Orange has an exciting opportunity to join a small team that will deliver a 12-month disability inclusion training project throughout South Australia.

JFA Purple Orange is an Adelaide-based social-profit organisation working to improve the life chances of people living with disability.

We conduct research, run consultations and contribute to policy development. We also deliver projects that influence practice. We work closely with people living with disability, in line with the principles of co-design.

About the role

This position aims to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of the disability inclusion training project. The Project Administrator will provide administrative and logistical support to ensure the successful delivery of approximately 100 training sessions throughout South Australia (metro and regional).

Benefits and perks

This role is offered on a 0.5FTE basis, for a 12-month term. Given the nature of the work and the need to be in regular contact with external stakeholders, we are looking for someone who is available to work five half-days per week (Monday – Friday).

Skills and experience

The successful candidate will have:

  • A deeply-felt value base in support of improving the life chances of people living with disability and their families, especially in respect of choices and inclusion.
  • Experience providing administrative and logistical support to complex projects.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • An ability to engage in a friendly, respectful and professional manner with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • An ability to work under limited supervision, establish priorities and meet deadlines.
  • A demonstrated ability to contribute to the maintenance of a harmonious, safe and healthy workplace which values diversity and is free of harassment, unlawful discrimination and bullying.
  • Strong skills in the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
