This senior executive role is accountable for impactful communication strategies and delivery of the organisation’s key messaging via media, digital and corporate communication channels. The role also oversees campaigns, digital platforms, events, and the ambassador program, and manages brand and corporate marketing.

Reporting to the CEO, the Director leads a team of three managers covering Campaign Delivery & Marketing, Media & Communications and Digital to deliver a strategic approach to the function, responsive issues management, effective stakeholder engagement and integrated support across the organisation.

Success requires a fully equipped specialist professional with an accomplished track record involving marketing, brand, internal and external communications, campaigns, and media engagement. Along with these skills, senior leadership capability is expected. Experience gained in government or community sectors is highly desirable.

Relevant tertiary qualifications in media, communications, marketing, or related field are sought.

Focus areas include provision of policy advice; development of communications and marketing campaigns; development of the primary prevention workforce; production of research-based tools; leading a public conversation; and monitoring and evaluating prevention.
