The Organisation:

Melba Support Services is a human rights, values based, not-for-profit community organisation committed to providing services that support individuals with disability to lead everyday lives of their choice.

The Role:

The role is required to liaise with managers and staff of government and non-government service providers, community groups, and other interested parties in relation to supported person related and service delivery issues and participate in the monitoring and evaluation of service performance and supported person outcomes. The role requires highly developed leadership, management and practice knowledge to facilitate quality service outcomes in more complex environments.

Reporting to the Outcomes Manager - you will:

  • Take responsibility for managing, mentoring and guiding a small team in the delivery of individualised support and associated activities
  • Prepare required plans, reports, business cases and evaluations
  • Liaise effectively with multiple service providers including the NDIS and regulatory agencies and partners
  • Monitor NDIS budgets for individuals being supported
  • Document individual supports and outcomes including the implementation of Personal Outcomes Measures
  • Be responsible for ensuring that the Direct Support staff are supported and empowered in the delivery of outstanding high-quality services
  • Contribute to roster development

*For the House Supervisor position in Sale, a Cert IV in Disability is a minimum requirement

*For the House Supervisor positions in Morwell, we are seeking candidates with an Advanced Diploma of Community Sector management or equivalent

The Offer:

The House Supervisor positions are offered on a permanent basis at a competitive salary plus superannuation. In addition, you will be able to access attractive PBI/NFP salary packaging.
