The Organisation

The Victorian Aboriginal Child Care Agency is a well-respected social services organisation that strives to enrich the lives of children, young people, families, and community members, providing education in family violence, cultural strengthening and youth services.

The Position

You will be taking on the role of Instructional Designer for the organisation, key responsibilities for this role include:

• Designing and implementing easy-to-understand course content
• Developing new and existing training materials to suit the needs of a wide range of individuals
• Optimisation of instructional material including workshops, online courses and training manuals
• Creating fun and engaging learning experiences and environments
• Collaborating across the organisation ensure the delivery of high-quality products
• Build strong partnerships, enhance relationships and engage effectively with internal and external key stakeholders

The Person

About you:

• Prior experience as an Instructional Designer (not-for-profit sector experience advantageous but not essential)
• Experience with project management and project planning
• Passionate about people and supporting those in need, inline with the VACCA’s values
• Great interpersonal skills, time management and commitment to high quality customer service
• Proficiency with MS Office and intranet-base is highly desirable
