This is an exciting opportunity to join our Family Based Care team who work with families to assess their strengths and motivation to care to ensure that children and young people are supported to reach their full potential.
As the Intake and Assessment Worker, you undertake the intake and assessments of potential General Foster Carers and Specific Child Only Carers working from a therapeutic trauma-informed framework. The role will work closely with the Case Managers to provide caseload support for their carers and the children in their care as required. Your ability to readily build rapport and engage positively with the people we work with will serve you well in being able to respond to carers in crisis and provide trauma-informed interventions to address the presenting issue. You are tech-savvy and able to learn and review systems while being collaborative and solutions focused in your approach to problem-solving.
