This is an exciting full-time role in our organisation to assist children and young people aged 10-19 years old who are either impacted by or have moderate to high substance use issues and psychosocial complexities within the Eurobodalla region.
This position is a clinical role that will provide comprehensive holistic assessment, treatment planning and recommendations, secondary consultations, individual, group or family brief interventions, counselling and educational interventions and capacity building for other health professionals.
This position will function autonomously (with an AOD nurse and AOD Case Manager) as well as collaboratively with a range of service providers, such as family and child, health and well-being services, justice, and education. This position is expected to collaborate, plan, develop treatment plans and provide short to medium term interventions for the children/young people and their families that are consistent with best practice standards and evidence-based care.
Reporting to the Karralika Programs Community Services Manager this position provides the opportunity to support young people make positive changes to improve their overall wellbeing.
