We are looking for a Human Resources professional to join our team in Geelong 1 day per week. Here is an amazing opportunity to:

Reporting to the CEO, you will work as part of a high performing and passionate team based in the Geelong community. To be successful in this role you will have a track record of developing and implementing human resource strategies that make a real difference to organisational performance and staff well being and engagement. An engaged and enthusiastic team member, you will provide a range of human resource solutions to a busy, ethical and caring organisation. You will be curious and comfortable with ambiguity, able to support longer term organisational strategic planning, and roll up your sleeves to deliver shorter term projects.

Main Duties / Responsibilities

  • Deliver high quality HR advice and support to the Kids+ CEO and senior team on workplace and employee relations matters as required
  • Working with the CEO to develop the HR strategy and plan aligned to the Kids+ longer terms goals and vision, including but not limited to workforce planning, talent attraction, retention and development, employee value proposition development, building capability, reward & recognition models, elevating performance, culture, engagement and purpose
  • Support with end to end recruitment, contracts and onboarding
  • Continuous improvement and audit of HR policies, systems and procedures as required (including interpreting and implementing legislation and award changes)

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor Degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or relevant field
  • Minimum five years’ experience in a similar HR related role – strategic and operational experience
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to negotiate and influence
  • ER/IR and health, safety & wellbeing knowledge & experience
  • Ability to support and manage a continuous improvement model for achieving outcomes
