KU Ashmont Preschool and Family Centre in Wagga Wagga, is our new service that aims to provide the best opportunity to positively respond to the needs of the local community by providing a traditional preschool program for children aged 3-6 years and additional Early Intervention and NDIS services for its children and families.

The Role

As a member of the allied health team, you will be working with a dedicated and skilled team of educators and other allied health professionals in providing support to children and families.

We are seeking a Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team in providing support and expertise to families of children with developmental disability or developmental delay.

The ideal applicant is able to work in a transdisciplinary team and has knowledge of NDIS.

On offer are permanent part time and full time positions with full time employees receiving one monthly rostered day off (RDO).

Working closely with Community to achieve appropriate outcomes, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are encouraged to apply for this job.

To be considered for this role the following are essential:

  • Degree in Applied Science (Occupational Therapy) or its equivalent
  • Registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia
  • AHPRA registration
  • Driver licence and own reliable vehicle
  • A current NSW Working with Children Check
  • A valid NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Knowledge of child protection legislation and its implications for the care and protection of children
  • Demonstrated professional level of written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated computer literacy
