KU Children’s Services is one of Australia’s most experienced and respected providers of a rage of early education and care services and is expanding its Allied Health Team to enable access to high quality services for both KU children and families and the wider communities in which we work.

KU embraces and supports vulnerable families and those with children with additional needs, in accessing and participating in quality therapy services (including NDIS services).

Exciting opportunities have become available in Maidstone, Vic for qualified Occupational Therapists who are looking to join a progressive team that aims to provide programs and services that are inclusive.

The Role

We are seeking Paediatric Occupational Therapists to join our team in providing support and expertise for families with children from birth with developmental disability or developmental delay.

As a member of the Allied Heath Team, you will be working directly with children and families to delivery high quality occupational therapy to children and families based in Maidstone. Supported by experienced administrators and reporting directly to the Allied Health Manager, this is a wonderful opportunity to really make a difference in the lives of children.

As an Occupational Therapist you will

  • Have experience working with children with a disability or developmental delay.
  • Be flexible and able to manage a caseload that is based in KU services.
  • Be able to work in a trans-disciplinary team and have knowledge of NDIS.

On offer are permanent full time and part time positions with full time positions accruing one monthly Rostered Day Off (RDO).

To be considered for this role, the following are essential:

  • Degree in Applied Science (Occupational Therapy) or its equivalent
  • Registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia
  • AHPRA registration
  • A current Victorian Working with Children Check
  • A valid NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Driver License and your own vehicle
  • Demonstrated professional level of written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated computer literacy
