HomeGround Real Estate is a social enterprise within Launch Housing. We're a not-for-profit real estate with our fees reinvested into ending homelessness.

Who we're seeking:

We're looking for a driven assistant property manager with a passion for people and those seeking to help make a difference to homelessness in Melbourne. You will be compassionate, professional and honest. Be open to learning new things, be willing to bring your ideas to the table and be a team player.

The position is full time or can be negotiated to 4 days per week for the right person. There will be some Saturday work required on a rotational roster.

What you'll do

As a valued team member of the HomeGround Real Estate (HGRE) team, you will play an important role in ensuring the agency establishes itself in the market place as a competitive provider of property management services. You will also play a key role in developing a reputation among the public and members of the industry that demonstrates integrity and competence as real estate practitioners. Your role includes, but is not limited to:

  • Support a team of property managers in the day-to-day management of properties
  • Conduct routine inspections on behalf of property managers
  • Conduct condition reports and final inspections as required
  • Conduct open for inspections as required
  • Learn and understand legislative requirements
  • Help ensure databases are up to date, such as compliance and procedures
  • Provide property management services to an initial portfolio of 20 properties, with the view to grow this number slowly and move into a property management role in the future.

What is required

You will have the ability to provide a personalised and high level of customer service to our amazing clients. You need to be organised and have great communications skills!

  • Some experience in property management, real estate or a related industry would be advantageous.
  • Driver's license is required
  • Agents' representatives' certificate is required

Note:

  • All applicants must have the right to work in Australia and will be required to complete a Working with Children Check and Police check

  • COVID-19 vaccination or a valid Covid-19 Vaccination Exemption certificate is required to work on site
