About Centre Against Sexual Assault Central Victoria (CASACV):

CASACV is a dynamic feminist-based organisation offering specialist trauma informed services to clients and community across the central Victoria region. We deliver 24-hour crisis care support, therapeutic counselling, early intervention, outreach services, professional education and training, and research.

The Role (.8 eft):

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced person to be part of the CASACV Adults Counselling Team. The role provides day to day counselling as part of the Adults Counselling Team who are Team of passionate and skilled practitioners. The role provides quality therapeutic interventions, with a systems lens, including significant engagement with people presenting with symptoms of trauma and complex needs, using a range of evidence-based trauma processing modalities, within feminist and structural frameworks.

Located mainly in Bendigo, with a possibility to also attend an outreach location.

About You:

You will hold a tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Family Therapy, Counselling or related discipline and have an understanding of the gendered nature of violence, and the impact of trauma on adults, young people and their families.

You have demonstrated clinical experience in delivering therapeutic services including clinical assessment, treatment, advocacy and therapeutic group work. You are committed to the delivery of high-quality trauma informed practice.
